MGB Biopharma Limited is a biopharmaceutical company established in 2009 to develop a completely new class of anti-infective medicines based upon compounds which are DNA Minor Groove Binders (MGB)

The company has an exceptionally experienced team from both pharma and biotech sectors and is dedicating its focus initially to the development of small molecules with specific antibacterial effects against resistant bacteria

By deliberate selection of a new class of antibacterial, we believe the novel mode of action should prove to be very potent against bacteria as these target organisms will lack any inherent resistance, unlike that typically facing new drugs which are the result of modifications from existing classes of drugs used to treat bacterial infection
